YOU.CAR is an eco-friendly rideshare app whose mission is to empower everyday people to make climate-conscious transportation decisions. The company does this by helping drivers make the switch to electric vehicles, offering riders an Electric vehicle rideshare option, and partnering with companies to meet their Environmental, Social and Governance goals.

The Client

The company came to us in 2022 with the idea of a rideshare revolution. Their main concern was to simplify all processes involved in the business, bring about a lot more value to the driver and give them plenty of opportunities to upsell the rider’s experience. The company focuses on electric rideshare and wants to change the ride-sharing experience which is currently focused on the ride to a better customer-centric experience. They want to enhance rider-driver interactions and are constantly looking out for ways to make the experience more comfortable. You.Car has channelled its motto towards using renewable energy towards building a sustainable future and great ride experiences.

The Challenges

The first challenge was to create a simple brand identity that effectively conveys to the target audience the reasons You.Car was unique. But we also had to take in competitors like Uber, Lyft etc. and analyze ways to integrate relevant information from those companies and present them genuinely. We then had to create an interface that was accessible to everyone. We then worked with them to create an all-inclusive marketing strategy for clear positioning and the success of the brand.

Our Solution

We first started by working on the brand logo and tried several types of designs and in the end zeroed in on You.Car where the “you” signifies the importance of the rider in the entire ride-sharing experience. A further step of action would be after consistent fame and visibility to cut the You and focus on .Car as the primary logo. Since You.Car is into sustainability and electric car ridesharing, we used green to signify the eco-friendly aspect of the entire narrative and constantly reinforce it to users. But we took a lot of time to choose which gradient of the green colour will best suit the brand and used it. In regard to the website, since You.Car as a brand is constantly moving forward by providing an inspiring solution of ride-sharing, we decided to go with arrows that help in guiding the user through the website which would be a symbolic description of providing directions and moving forward. We also added a blog to the website to get more online traffic and serve as a repository of information by providing valuable knowledge to the world.

End Result

An iconic logo was created, and the branding strategy was laid out for the next few years.
